Baldwin 1.9 Gallon Step Trash Can 3 Pack White

This pack contains three 1.9 gallon step trash cans made from BPA-free thickened PP plastic in white. Each unit features a dual-action lid that opens by pressing the centre button or stepping on the foldable foot pedal. The soft-close mechanism closes silently at a 90 degree stay-open angle. A hidden bag ring secures liners and simplifies changes.

Suits small rooms needing multiple bins

These slim cans fit bathrooms, bedrooms, offices, dorm rooms, powder rooms, campers or RVs where floor space is limited. The pet-proof, waterproof lid traps odours and keeps animals out. Buyers who need larger capacity for kitchen waste or high-traffic areas should look at something else. The 1.9 gallon volume is designed for light, daily use in compact spaces.

No tools required for setup

Simply unfold the foot pedal, insert a standard bag over the hidden ring and the can is ready. The fingerprint-resistant surface wipes clean with a damp cloth. The only common issue is pressing the lid sides instead of the centre button, which will not activate the opening mechanism. Ensure the pedal clicks into place before first use.

Questions about this item

Do I need to buy trash bags separately for these 1.9 gallon cans?

Yes, the cans include a hidden bag ring to secure standard small bags, but bags are not included in the pack.

Will the soft-close lid still close gently if I also use the hand press button?

Yes, the soft-close mechanism engages whether you open the lid with the foot pedal or the center hand button.

How can I confirm the foot pedal is working correctly after I set the cans up?

Step on the pedal; the lid should rise smoothly to a 90° stay-open position and then lower silently when you release the pedal.
