Baldwin 10 Litre Sensor Wastebasket Pack

This three-pack supplies 10 litre capacity bins for kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and offices. Motion-sensor lids open automatically when hands approach the infrared field. White plastic construction suits indoor and covered outdoor spaces. The set is designed for users who want touch-free waste disposal across multiple rooms.

IPX5 Waterproof Rating and Battery Power

Each unit carries an IPX5 waterproof rating to resist splashes in wet areas. Two AA batteries per bin power the sensor mechanism; batteries are not included. The lid stays open while movement is detected and closes five seconds after activity stops. No mains wiring or external power supply is required.

Detachable Legs and Anti-Skid Base

Removable legs let the bin sit directly on the floor or raised for easier access. An anti-skid base prevents sliding on smooth surfaces. The covered lid design contains odours and keeps contents out of sight. Supplied garbage bags must be fitted by the user following the included steps.

Questions about this item

How do I install the batteries and which step do people often miss?

Insert 2 AA batteries into the compartment under the lid, then secure the garbage bag over the inner ring so the sensor window stays clear; the bag must not cover the infrared eye or the lid will not open.

What maintenance will the sensor wastebasket need over time?

Replace the 2 AA batteries when the lid response slows, wipe the infrared sensor window with a dry cloth to remove dust, and check the IPX5-rated seals if the unit is used outdoors.

What limit appears first during continuous use?

The lid closes automatically after 5 seconds with no motion detected, so the sensor range and timeout are the first constraints during sustained traffic.
