Baldwin 2.5 Gal Motion Sensor Trash Can Pack

This pack contains a 2.5 gallon bin with a 2 gallon bin nested inside. Both units are made of white plastic and open automatically when a hand waves over the sensor. They suit bathrooms, kitchens, offices and other compact living spaces where touch-free waste disposal is preferred. The set is sold as a single pack under part number ELPH6711+5711.

Check your space and power before ordering

Each bin requires a flat surface and enough clearance for the lid to swing open fully. The motion sensor needs an unobstructed line of sight above the unit. No wiring or plumbing is involved, so confirm you have a convenient spot for battery replacement when the sensor eventually needs fresh cells. The nested packing means the smaller bin must be removed before first use.

Thermals, noise and power draw in normal use

The sensor-driven lid runs on battery power and draws negligible current while idle. Motor noise during opening and closing is low and brief, making the bins suitable for quiet rooms. Plastic construction does not generate heat, and there are no fans or active cooling components. Normal daily cycles will not raise the surface temperature above ambient.

Questions about this item
