Compact Two-Pack Desktop Bin

This Baldwin two-pack supplies a pair of small plastic wastebaskets for desks, vanities, bedside tables or car consoles. Each unit holds .408 gallons and measures 5.7 inches wide by 5.8 inches high. The white and light green finishes suit a range of décor styles. Buyers who need larger capacity or a single high-volume bin should look elsewhere.

Snap-Open Lid and Hidden Bag Liner

A press-type pop-up lid opens with a light tap and stays closed to contain odours and deter pets. The dual-barrel construction uses snap-on sides to separate the inner liner from the outer shell, keeping the bag tucked out of sight. Four rubber feet prevent slipping and protect table surfaces. No power draw, noise or thermal output is involved.

Replaces Loose Bins or Improvised Containers

The set upgrades from makeshift cups, bowls or single loose bins that lack lids and bag retention. The jump is worthwhile when you want matching, lidded containers at multiple stations without a large footprint. It does not suit users who require foot-pedal operation, swing-top access or a volume above .4 gallons per unit.

Questions about this item

How do I fit the garbage bag so it stays hidden and does not slip?

Snap the inner cylinder into the outer barrel using the two side buckles, then tuck the bag edges under those buckles before pressing the lid shut.

What part will need cleaning or replacement after daily bathroom use?

The removable inner cylinder and the rubber feet on the base should be wiped down; the pop-up lid hinge may need occasional lubrication if it stiffens.

At what fill level does the 0.408-gallon capacity force me to empty the bin?

Once contents reach the 1500 ml mark — roughly three-quarters up the 5.8-inch height — the lid will no longer close cleanly.
