Baldwin 4.5 L Step Trash Can 3 Pack

This set includes three 4.5 liter step cans with bamboo lids and removable plastic inner buckets. They suit bathrooms, offices, kitchens or bedrooms where a compact, hands-free bin is needed. The white powder-coated steel bodies and natural bamboo lids fit neutral decor schemes. Buyers who need larger capacity or a single-unit purchase should look elsewhere.

Silent Close Lid and Removable Liner

The slow-close mechanism prevents the lid from slamming during normal use. A foot pedal opens the lid without hand contact, keeping surfaces cleaner. The durable plastic liner bucket lifts out for rinsing with mild soap and water. No motorised or electronic components are present, so operation stays quiet.

Steel Body with Bamboo Lid and Inner Bucket

Each can measures 12.2 inches high by 7.5 inches wide by 10 inches deep with a 6.6 inch diameter by 9.92 inch high plastic bucket. The powder-coated steel resists rust while the bamboo lid adds a warm accent. The step pedal and integrated handles on the liner simplify daily emptying and cleaning routines.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the step pedal and inner bucket, and what is the common mistake?

Place the can on a flat surface, insert the 6.6 inch diameter plastic liner bucket so its handles sit flush, then test the pedal; the mistake is leaving the bucket tilted, which stops the 12.2 inch tall lid from closing silently.

What part will need cleaning or replacement first with daily use?

The removable 9.92 inch high plastic liner bucket should be lifted out and rinsed with mild soap and water whenever residue builds up; the powder-coated steel body and bamboo lid only need occasional wiping.

At what fill level does the slow-close lid stop sealing properly?

The 4.5 liter capacity is the practical limit; once waste reaches the top of the inner bucket the lid can no longer engage its silent-close mechanism and will stay slightly open.
