Portable Emergency Lighting

The Baldwin D8 is a 100 watt portable LED work light built for emergency and job site use. It delivers 10000 lumens from 336 LED chips and runs on a 16500mAh rechargeable battery. The unit offers stepless brightness adjustment and a 3000 to 6000K colour temperature range.

Suited for Outdoor and Multi-Site Work

Workers needing one remote to command several lights across a warehouse, garage or campsite will benefit from the one-to-many pairing function. The IP66 rating and fireproof ABS base suit wet or dusty conditions. Buyers who need a fixed-mount exit sign or a light without solar charging should look elsewhere.

Battery Capacity and Output Headroom

A full charge provides 8 to 10 hours of runtime depending on brightness level. The 10000 lumen maximum covers large areas for search, repair or SOS signalling with red and blue warning modes. At the highest output the battery reaches its limit faster, so extended full-power jobs may require a second unit or USB top-up.

Questions about this item

What power sources can recharge the 16500mAh battery on this Baldwin D8 light?

The unit accepts solar input or USB charging, giving two ways to replenish the 16500mAh battery.

Will the IP66-rated housing survive the same wet conditions as my older IP65 job-site lights?

Yes, the IP66 rating means it is dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets, exceeding IP65.

How do I confirm the remote has paired correctly with the 336 LED chips?

When pairing succeeds, the indicator light flashes sequentially to show the remote now controls the 336 LEDs.
