Oil filter for Acura Honda Isuzu

The Baldwin Filters B1425 is a spin-on oil filter built for Acura, Honda and Isuzu passenger cars and light-duty trucks. It uses an M20 x 1.50 thread and a 9.8 micron rating to trap contaminants before they reach the engine. The cartridge includes a 20 psid bypass valve and an anti-drainback valve for immediate pressure at start-up. Transparent housing lets a technician confirm media condition without removal.

Sustained filtration under pressure

During extended service intervals the 9.8 micron media maintains flow while holding fine particles that accelerate bearing wear. The 20 psid bypass valve opens only when restriction exceeds the set point, preventing oil starvation during cold starts or heavy load. Anti-drainback silicone retains a prime so lubrication is instant on every ignition cycle. Media area and structural pleats resist collapse under continuous pump pressure.

Replaces shorter-service spin-on filters

Install this filter when the maintenance schedule calls for a 9.8 micron spin-on with M20 x 1.50 threads and the included bypass and anti-drainback features. It upgrades from basic filters that lack a bypass valve or use a coarser micron rating. The jump is worth it for engines that see frequent short trips, towing or dusty environments where finer filtration extends oil life. Not suited for applications requiring a different thread pitch, a larger canister diameter or a non-spin-on mounting style.
