Application fit

This Baldwin Filters PA5697 air filter element fits automotive cabin air systems requiring a rectangular panel measuring 6-7/16 inches wide by 1-17/32 inches high and 15-21/32 inches long. It serves vehicle owners and technicians replacing a spent cabin filter during scheduled maintenance.

Replacement timing

The element replaces a used cabin air filter that has accumulated dust, pollen and debris over normal service intervals. A change is worth it when airflow through the vents drops noticeably, when musty odours appear inside the cabin or when the service schedule calls for a fresh element.

Dimensional limits

The fixed panel dimensions of 6-7/16 by 1-17/32 by 15-21/32 inches mean the housing must accept this exact rectangular profile; units with a different height, width or length will not seal correctly. Buyers needing a round, cone or larger rectangular filter cannot use this part.
