Baldwin Filters V415-FF Oil Filter
The Baldwin Filters V415-FF is a spin-on oil filter built with Vac-Cel dual-stage full-flow media. It fits Bowser-Briggs, Commercial, Hilco and Winslow filter housings. Mechanics and fleet operators use it to keep engine lubrication clean in heavy-duty applications.
Vac-Cel Dual-Stage Media
The Vac-Cel dual-stage full-flow sock captures contaminants across two filtration stages while maintaining oil flow. This design extends service intervals and protects bearings and journals in high-hour engines. The transparent housing allows a quick visual check of element condition without removal.
Spin-On Installation
The filter threads onto compatible housings by hand and seals with a single gasket. No special tools are required for routine changes. Over-tightening can damage the gasket and cause leaks, so follow the housing manufacturer's torque guidance. Clearance of 18 inches height and 6-3/16 inches diameter is needed for removal.

Questions about this item
How often should the Vac-Cel dual-stage full-flow lube sock be replaced?
Replace the cartridge at the equipment manufacturer's recommended service interval or when the pressure differential indicates the media is saturated.
What signals that the filter has reached its dirt-holding limit during continuous operation?
A rising pressure drop across the cartridge shows the media is full and flow is becoming restricted.
Does the housing temperature rise noticeably when the filter runs all day?
The filter itself adds no heat; any temperature change comes from the lubrication system, not the cartridge.
