Wireless remote control outlet kit

This Baldwin Hardware U151R-1-1 kit includes a remote and two outlets that switch together. The remote uses a 2 AAA battery and operates on radio frequency. The 6-inch cord plugs into a standard socket. The system is ready to use out of the box.

Suits users wanting simple on/off control

The two outlets activate simultaneously, not independently. The single remote controls both at once. Buyers who need individual outlet switching should look at something else. The 100 ft line-of-sight range works through doors and walls.

Rated 15 A and 1875 W resistive load

The dual 3-prong outlets handle lights, heaters and holiday decorations up to 1875 watts. Tungsten rating is 5 A at 625 W. The outlets stay off after a power outage to protect connected equipment. ETL listed for safety.

Questions about this item

What devices can I plug into the two 15-amp outlets on this unit?

The dual outlets accept any standard 125-volt plug up to 15 amps resistive or 5 amps tungsten, so lights, heaters, air conditioners, audio systems, holiday decorations and charging devices all work.

Will the remote signal reach a receiver plugged in behind a brick wall 30 metres away?

The radio-frequency remote is rated for 100 feet line of sight; walls and doors reduce that range, so 30 metres through masonry is unlikely to be reliable.

How do I confirm the remote and outlets are paired correctly after setup?

Press the remote button — both outlets should switch on together and their indicator lights will illuminate, showing the link is active.
