Baldwin LED Fixture FSKU002

The Baldwin FSKU002 is an LED light fixture designed for indoor use on out-opening narrow stile store front doors. Its rectangular black housing measures one by sixteen by one inches and delivers a warm white colour temperature. The unit is supplied new and carries a one-year rated life with one-year parts and labour coverage.

Practical limits of USB power and 2.4G WiFi

The fixture draws power from a USB connection, so available current from the host port determines maximum brightness and backlight performance. Wireless control via the Tuya, Smart Life or Colorpanda apps requires a 2.4G WiFi network; 5 GHz bands are not supported. App pairing also needs Bluetooth permission on the phone and the lamp must be in breathing pale-blue pairing mode before linking.

One-year rated life decides replacement cycle

The specified rated life of one year sets the expected service interval for this fixture. Buyers planning continuous daily operation should budget for annual replacement, while those needing longer uninterrupted service will need a different solution.

Questions about this item

Which color-temperature setting should I choose for evening work?

The lamp offers three presets — 2700 K for warm evening light, 4000 K for neutral tasks, and 6500 K for cool daylight; touch the left button to cycle through them and the memory function keeps your last choice.

What does the 16 million-colour backlight actually do on my desk?

It creates dynamic RGB scenes behind the monitor that can sync to music via the phone microphone, adding ambient bias lighting without shining onto the screen.

Will the lamp work with my 5 GHz Wi-Fi network?

No — the device only connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi; pair it through the Smart Life, Tuya Smart or Colorpanda app, then link to Alexa or Google Assistant for voice control.
