Three-Pack Touchless Wastebaskets

This set provides three 2.6 gallon plastic bins designed for bathrooms, bedrooms, offices and dorm rooms. The slim profile allows each can to fit into narrow corners or alongside furniture. Motion-sensor lids open automatically when a hand or object enters the detection zone, removing the need to touch the lid surface. The pack suits households or facilities wanting consistent hygiene across multiple rooms.

Infrared Sensor and Removable Fix Ring

Each lid uses infrared technology to detect motion and opens without contact, which helps users with limited mobility. A green indicator stays lit while an object remains in the sensing area and flashes during the five-second countdown before the lid closes automatically. A removable inner ring secures the bag edges, preventing overhang and making bag changes quicker. Two AA batteries per unit are required and not supplied.

Slim Plastic Build with Odour-Sealing Lid

The white plastic construction is lightweight and easy to wipe clean in daily use. Lids seat tightly to the can opening, containing odours and keeping contents out of sight. The narrow footprint suits tight spaces such as beside a toilet, under a desk or in an RV bathroom. Buyers needing larger capacity or a foot-pedal mechanism should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How often do the 2 AA batteries powering the infrared sensor need replacing?

The touchless lid runs on 2 AA batteries (not included); typical alkaline cells last several months with normal household use, so plan on swapping them a few times a year.

Will the 2.6 gallon capacity fill too quickly in a busy office?

At 2.6 gallons the bin suits light-duty areas such as bathrooms or dorm rooms; high-traffic spaces will require more frequent bag changes.

Does the motor or sensor generate noticeable heat or noise during all-day operation?

The infrared sensor and lid motor are low-power; they produce no audible hum and no measurable warmth even when the can is used continuously throughout the day.
