Dual-head LED desk lamp

The Baldwin SHTD05ST01 provides adjustable task lighting for home offices and workstations. Its dual-head design delivers wider coverage than single-head lamps for reading, studying or computer work. The clamp mounts to desks up to 2.1 inches thick, leaving the desktop surface clear. It suits users who need flexible, eye-comfortable illumination without permanent installation.

Thermals noise and power

LED technology produces minimal heat during extended use, keeping the lamp heads cool to the touch. The unit operates silently with no fan or moving parts beyond the gooseneck joints. Power draw is low, consuming up to 85 percent less energy than traditional incandescent lighting. USB power allows connection to a laptop, power bank or wall adapter for versatile energy sourcing.

Build integration

The sturdy metal clamp secures to compatible desk edges without tools, freeing up workspace compared to base-standing lamps. A 360-degree flexible gooseneck on each head lets you direct light precisely where needed for specific tasks. Three colour modes at 2700K, 4500K and 6500K plus ten brightness levels replace multiple fixed-output lamps. The lamp is intended for task lighting, not primary room illumination.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the clamp on my desk, and what thickness limit should I check first?

The clamp fits desks up to 2.1 inches thick; measure the edge before tightening so you do not force it onto a thicker surface.

Which parts might need replacement after the 12 month manufacture rated life?

The LED modules are rated for the 12 month manufacture period; after that the dual heads or USB power cable are the most likely items to wear.

What is the first limit I will hit if I run both heads at the 6500K cool setting continuously?

The USB power source will hit its current limit before the lamp overheats, so use a 5 V adapter rated for at least 2 A to sustain full brightness.
