Replacement fluorescent lamp

This fluorescent lamp serves as a direct replacement for 20W bug zapper units. It fits devices that accept a T8 10W tube with a 2-prong base. The lamp emits 365nm light to attract mosquitoes, gnats, moths and other flying insects without chemicals.

Indoor insect control users

Buyers who need a spare bulb for compatible 20W electric bug zappers such as Aspectek or LiBa models will find this pack suitable. It is not intended for general room lighting, outdoor flood fixtures or fixtures requiring a different wattage, base type or tube length.

365nm UV wavelength

The decisive specification is the 365nm ultraviolet output that draws insects to the zapper grid. If the existing unit relies on a different wavelength or a non-UV attractant, this lamp will not perform as expected.

Questions about this item

Does the 6-pack of T8 10W bulbs include any starter or ballast components, or are those bought separately?

The pack contains six T8 10W fluorescent tubes only; no starter or ballast is included and none is required for direct-fit bug-zapper sockets.

Which version should I choose if my zapper is a 20W unit that takes a 2-prong T8 tube?

Select the T8 10W 2-prong version; it is listed as compatible with 20W zappers such as Aspectek and LiBa models.

What does the 365 nm wavelength mean for insect catch rate once the bulb is installed?

The 365 nm UV output matches the peak attraction range for mosquitoes, gnats and moths, so the zapper draws insects effectively without chemicals.
