2-in-1 Folding Chair & Backpack Stool

The Baldwin ZDD01 is a 2-in-1 portable seat that converts from a folding chair into a backpack stool. It is built with thickened Oxford fabric and a reinforced carbon steel frame. The unit measures 12 in x 11 in x 12 in and comes in black vinyl.

Suits solo travellers needing hands-free carry

This stool suits campers, anglers, and festival-goers who want a single item that carries like a bag and opens into a seat with a side pocket for small essentials. Buyers who need a larger seating surface, a higher backrest, or a model that accommodates more than one person should look at other options.

Opens in seconds; pocket and strap need checking

The frame pops open and folds flat without tools, and the adjustable strap lets you wear it crossbody. The most common issues are overstuffing the side pocket until the zipper strains and setting the strap too loose so the stool swings while walking.

Questions about this item

What surface area does the 12 x 11 x 12 in frame need to sit level?

The carbon steel frame unfolds to a 12 x 11 in footprint; place it on any flat patch of ground, deck or floor that is at least that large and free of large gaps.

Can the 265 lb rated frame be used on the same rocky ground as a lighter camp stool?

Yes — the reinforced carbon steel legs and thickened Oxford fabric are built for uneven terrain, so it remains stable where lighter stools might wobble or sink.

How do I confirm the side pocket and adjustable strap are secured before I sit?

Tug the pocket flap to verify the hook-and-loop closure is sealed, then pull the strap until the buckle clicks; the chair should not shift when you press down.
