New Katamari adventure on PC

Once Upon A KATAMARI is a downloadable Steam game from Bandai Namco Entertainment arriving on 23 October 2025. Players roll a sticky ball through historical eras to restore the stars after the King of All Cosmos destroys them. The title supports single-player progression and local multiplayer for up to four participants in KatamariBall matches.

Digital code runs on modest hardware

The downloadable format requires no physical media and installs directly through Steam on a 64-bit Windows 11 system. Minimum specifications list an Intel Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 3 3100 processor, 6 GB of memory, and a GTX 550 Ti or Radeon HD 7770 graphics card. DirectX 11 compliance is required for the game to launch.

Region-locked activation on Steam

The product key activates only in select countries; buyers in blocked regions including Japan, Korea, China and others listed in the specifications cannot redeem the code. A Steam account and internet connection are mandatory for activation and play. The download frees shelf space but offers no offline installer or DRM-free alternative.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Steam code for Once Upon A KATAMARI and what step do people miss?

Redeem the code in the Steam client, then download the 64-bit Windows 11 build; the step many miss is confirming the OS is 64-bit before launching.

What will need replacement or maintenance later for this downloadable game?

No physical parts wear out; only future Steam client updates or Windows 11 patches may require a re-download or compatibility check.

What limit appears first during extended play sessions?

The 6 GB RAM minimum and GTX 550 Ti 1 GB or Radeon HD 7770 2 GB VRAM ceiling will throttle performance before any other constraint.
