RAD Digital Game for Xbox One

RAD is a 3D action rogue-like set in a post-post-apocalyptic world where humanity has survived two armageddons. You play a teenage protagonist who must explore the Fallow, a procedurally generated wasteland filled with unknown creatures. The digital code delivers the full game directly to your Xbox One console without physical media.

Xbox One DRM and Download Limits

The game uses Xbox One DRM, requiring an active Xbox Live account and an internet connection for initial redemption and installation. Once downloaded, the title is tied to your account and the designated home console. Offline play is restricted to the home console; secondary consoles require an online check. The download size will consume internal or external storage space on the console.

Rogue-Like Scope and Replayability

The procedural generation of the Fallow ensures that each run offers a different layout, enemy placement, and mutation path. Permadeath means a single failed run ends that character's journey, though persistent unlocks such as new bats provide advantages for future attempts. Daily challenges with fixed quirks allow for competitive leaderboard runs. Players seeking a linear, story-driven campaign with guaranteed progression and no procedural variance will not find that structure here.
