Scale model kit

The Bandai RG Full Armor Unicorn Gundam is a 1/144 scale coloured plastic model kit aimed at hobbyists aged 15 and over. It arrives as a set of pre-coloured runners that require assembly with basic modelling tools. The finished figure represents the Full Armor variant from the Mobile Suit Gundam UC series.

Assembly and articulation

Under sustained building sessions the snap-fit joints hold firmly without adhesive, allowing the completed model to maintain dynamic poses. The inner frame provides structural rigidity while the armour parts layer over it, so repeated handling for display repositioning does not loosen critical connection points.

1/144 scale constraints

At 1/144 scale the kit cannot accommodate the internal detail density or parts count found in larger grades, limiting the range of movable gimmicks such as transformation mechanisms. Builders seeking a fully transformable Unicorn mode or extensive LED lighting integration will find those features absent from this grade.

Questions about this item

Does the 1/144 scale model generate any noise, heat or power draw when displayed all day?

It is a static plastic kit with no electronics, so it produces no noise, heat or power consumption.

What tools must I already own to assemble the RG Full Armor Unicorn Gundam?

You will need side cutters or a hobby knife to remove parts from the runners; tweezers and sanding sticks are helpful for clean finishes.

Will the 1/144 scale match the older 1/144 kits already in my collection?

Yes, it shares the same 1/144 scale, so it will sit consistently alongside earlier 1/144 Gundam models.
