1" Type D Cam and Groove Coupler
The Banjo 100D is a 1-inch Type D coupler with female NPT threads. It connects hoses or pipes in fluid-transfer systems where quick, tool-free assembly is required. The glass-filled polypropylene body resists corrosion and chemical attack. Stainless steel cam arms, rings and pins add mechanical strength. EPDM gaskets provide the seal.
Pressure and connection limits
Maximum operating pressure is rated at 300 psi. The coupling must not be disconnected while the line is under pressure or contains liquid. Precision moulding ensures uniform fit with other cam-lever couplers of the same size and type. The 1-inch FNPT thread matches standard pipe threads for direct installation.
Replaces worn or incompatible couplers
This unit upgrades leaking, cracked or metal couplers that corrode in aggressive fluids. The jump is worthwhile when a lightweight, non-metallic connection with tool-free operation reduces maintenance time. It does not suit systems that exceed the pressure rating or require a different cam-lever profile.

Questions about this item
Which size should I choose from the 1/2" to 4" NPT range?
Select the size that matches your existing pipe thread; this listing is the 1" FNPT version.
What does the 300 psi rating mean once the coupler is installed?
It is the maximum operating pressure the polypropylene body and EPDM gasket are designed to hold continuously.
How does the cam-and-groove interface limit use in practice?
The Type D cam locks onto a matching male adapter, and the coupling must never be disconnected while the line is under pressure.
