1-1/2" Female Coupler x FNPT 90 Degree Trap
The Banjo 150D90 is a polypropylene cam-and-groove Type D coupling sized at 1-1/2 in. It connects a female coupler to an FNPT thread for drain and trap installations. The socket inside diameter is 2 9/64 in and overall length is 4 27/32 in. A gasket of EPDM material seals the joint.
Pressure rating at 70 F
Maximum working pressure is 300 psi when the fluid temperature is 70 F. The polypropylene body resists many chemicals but will lose strength as temperature rises above the rated point. No locking arm is included so the connection relies on cam tension alone. Sustained loads near the limit should be avoided in hot environments.
NPT thread constraints
The 1-1/2 in -11-1/2 NPT thread sets the practical seal limit for this fitting. Thread engagement depth and taper angle govern leak resistance more than the cam groove does. Installers must apply appropriate sealant and torque to meet the 300 psi rating. The 90 degree bend adds flow restriction that cannot be removed.

Questions about this item
Does the 300 psi rating at 70 F hold when the coupler runs continuously?
The maximum working pressure is 300 psi at 70 F; continuous operation at that pressure and temperature is within the specified limit.
Which pipe thread must my system already have to connect the 1-1/2 in FNPT end?
The connection requires a 1-1/2 in -11-1/2 NPT male thread on the mating pipe or fitting.
Will the EPDM gasket and polypropylene body resist the same chemicals as my existing PVC drain line?
EPDM gaskets and polypropylene bodies generally handle many water-based chemicals, but verify compatibility with the specific fluids in your PVC system.
