Extended desk mat for gaming and office

The BAOFENG Desk Mat Black Gold Honeycomb measures 31.5 by 11.8 inches and is 3 mm thick. Its surface accommodates a full-size mechanical keyboard, mouse and other desktop items in one continuous area. The honeycomb-patterned top layer provides consistent glide for both work and play.

Surface feel and stability

The soft rubber base increases friction so the mat stays flat and does not shift on imperfect desks. A 3 mm thickness cushions minor surface irregularities, reducing strain during long typing sessions. No lighting or electronic components are present, so power draw and noise are not factors.

Stitched edges and portability

Reinforced stitching around the perimeter prevents fraying, peeling and deformation even when the mat is rolled for transport. The edge-lock design maintains structural integrity over years of daily use. Buyers who need a smaller footprint or a hard low-friction surface will not be served by this large cloth-style pad.

Questions about this item

How do I lay out the 31.5 x 11.8 desk mat so it stays flat on an uneven desktop?

Unroll the 3 mm thick mat and press the non-slip rubber base firmly onto the surface; the soft rubber grips imperfect desks and keeps the mat evenly flat without shifting.

What upkeep will the stitched edge and honeycomb surface need over time?

The locked stitching prevents fraying or de-gluing, so the edge stays intact; wipe the honeycomb texture with a damp cloth to remove dust and maintain glide.

At what point does the 3 mm thickness stop cushioning during marathon sessions?

The 3 mm pad reduces impact from uneven surfaces, but prolonged heavy typing or gaming will eventually transmit desk hardness once the foam compresses fully.
