Ultra-Portable Mini Umbrella

The Baraida BRD-Mini-Nov-25 is a compact manual umbrella that folds to 7.4 inches and weighs 8.5 oz. It fits easily in a pocket, cosmetic bag, or carry-on for daily commutes and travel. A clear canopy with black latex coating blocks 99 percent of UV rays and provides UPF 50 plus protection. The shade created underneath can be up to 12.6 degrees Fahrenheit cooler than direct sun.

Upgrade From Bulky Models

This umbrella replaces full-size sticks that are heavy and awkward to carry in a small bag. The folded dimensions of 8.3 by 3.1 by 2.4 inches make the jump worthwhile when storage space is tight or weight matters. A steel shaft and fiberglass frame add wind resistance without the bulk of a traditional frame. Buyers who need a larger canopy for two people or extended coverage in heavy storms will want a different size.

Simple Manual Operation

Opening and closing is a smooth manual action with no automatic spring to jam or misfire. The mechanism is reliable for everyday use and requires minimal effort. A waterproof zipper case keeps the wet canopy contained after use, preventing leaks inside a bag. The only common issue is forgetting to dry the fabric before long-term storage, which can lead to mildew on the coating.

Questions about this item

What are the folded dimensions of the BRD-Mini-Nov-25 so I know if it fits my bag?

When folded the umbrella measures 8.3 x 3.1 x 2.4 inches and weighs 8.5 oz, so it slides into most purses, cosmetic bags or jacket pockets.

How do I open and close the umbrella without bending the frame?

Grip the handle firmly, slide the manual runner up until it clicks, then push the runner down to collapse; forcing the canopy shut before the runner releases is the step that bends the fiberglass ribs.

How often should I replace the black latex coating that gives the UPF 50+ protection?

The coating lasts the life of the umbrella if you rinse salt or sand off after each use and let it dry fully before storing it in the waterproof zipper case.
