Curvy doll with purple hair

This Barbie Fashionistas doll has a curvy body type and wears loose purple hair. The set includes one doll, a strapless denim dress with butterfly print, a pastel pink belt, and matching ankle boots. It is made for children aged three and up. The plastic contains at least 59 percent plant-based material allocated via mass balance.

Sustained play durability

The doll and outfit are designed for repeated dressing and storytelling sessions. The plant-based plastic composition supports reduced fossil resource use across the product lifecycle. No electronic components or batteries are involved, so performance does not degrade with continuous use. The simple construction withstands typical daily play patterns.

Upgrades from basic fashion dolls

This doll replaces simpler figures that lack articulated curvy proportions or detailed printed fabrics. The jump is worth it when a child wants a more inclusive body type and a complete coordinated outfit with accessories. Buyers who need articulated joints for complex posing or a larger wardrobe system will not find those features here.

Questions about this item

Does the doll contain any electronic parts that generate noise, heat or draw power?

No, the doll is a non-electronic toy with no batteries or moving components, so it runs silently and produces no heat.

What else must the buyer already own for this doll to be playable?

Nothing extra is required; the package includes the doll, a denim butterfly dress, a pink belt, matching ankle boots and one accessory.

Will this doll's curvy body type fit clothing and accessories made for older standard Barbie dolls?

The curvy body is proportioned differently from the original silhouette, so legacy outfits and shoes designed for standard bodies may not fit properly.
