Barbie JDM72 Flower Magic Mermaid Doll Blonde

Mermaid doll with blooming flower feature

The Barbie Flower Magic Mermaid doll (model JDM72) activates a repeating bloom sequence when the lever on her back is slid. Iridescent flowers appear from the bodice down to the ombre tail. The doll has long blonde hair with pink highlights and wears a pearl headband. She is supplied new and intended for children aged three years and up.

For water-play fans; not for standalone display

This doll works on land and in water, so it suits children who want a toy for bath or pool time as well as dry play. The mechanism resets for repeated blooming without refills. Buyers who need a figure that can stand or swim unaided should look elsewhere, because this doll cannot balance or propel itself.

Lever-triggered repeat bloom mechanism

Sliding the back lever makes flowers bloom from bodice to fins over and over again. This single action drives the entire play feature and distinguishes the toy from standard mermaid dolls. If the repeating bloom is not the effect the child wants, a simpler doll without the mechanism would be more appropriate.
