Signature Dia De Muertos Ken 2024

This Mattel Barbie Signature collectible presents the 2024 Dia De Muertos Ken doll, model HRM73. He wears a satiny black shirt and pants with sky-blue color-blocking, a glossy black sombrero, sugar skull belt and shoes, and detailed calavera face paint. The set includes the doll, a display stand, and a Certificate of Authenticity. It is recommended for ages six and up.

Display durability and handling

The doll is designed for shelf display rather than active play, and the included stand is required because the figure cannot stand alone. Fabrics such as the satiny shirt, embroidered pants, and ribbon trim are intended to retain their appearance when kept in a stable environment. Frequent handling or posing may stress the glossy sombrero and painted facial details over time.

Unboxing and common issues

Remove the doll, stand, and certificate from the packaging and place the figure onto the stand for immediate display; no assembly or tools are needed. The most common issue is attempting to balance the doll without the stand, which leads to falls and potential paint or fabric damage. Keep the certificate with the doll to maintain its collectible provenance.
