Acoustic tube and spare coil included

The package supplies one headset with an acoustic tube earpiece plus a braided acoustic coil tube replacement. The tube design delivers clear sound without distortion while the sensitive push-to-talk button and microphone ensure reliable voice transmission in noisy environments.

Simple plug-in installation

The 6-pin M5 connector plugs directly into the radio’s accessory port without tools or software. The only common issue is confirming the exact model number before ordering because the connector fits many but not all similar-looking radios.

Questions about this item

How often should the braided acoustic coil tube be replaced?

The package includes one spare braided acoustic coil tube; replace it when the tube becomes stiff, discoloured or audio quality drops.

What limits continuous use of the PTT and microphone?

The sensitive PTT and microphone have no published duty-cycle rating; prolonged transmission may cause the inline switch or mic capsule to heat up first.

Does the earpiece get warm or draw noticeable power during all-day wear?

The acoustic tube earpiece is passive and draws no power itself; only the radio’s battery is consumed during transmit cycles.
