Questions about this item

Does the detachable keyboard need its own charging, or does it draw power from the iPad?

The magnetic wireless keyboard runs on its own battery and must be charged separately; it does not draw power from the iPad.

What stops the keyboard from staying connected during a full day of typing?

The keyboard's internal battery life is the limiting factor; once depleted, the magnetic link drops until recharged.

Does the case or keyboard get warm or make noise after hours of use?

The PU leather case and magnetic keyboard have no fans or moving parts, so they stay silent and at ambient temperature during extended use.
