License Plate Backup Camera

The Barrow Mods Epronic X1P is a 2-in-1 accessory that combines a license-plate mount with an HD rear-view camera for cars, trucks, SUVs, RVs and pickups. It runs on 12 V DC power and includes a 32.8 ft RCA video cable plus two mounting brackets for flexible installation.

720P Resolution and 149-Degree View

A high-sensitivity F1.5 CMOS chip and 600TVL sensor deliver HD 720P video through a 149-degree wide-angle lens. Twelve LED lights activate automatically for low-light scenes, while the NTSC signal and optional guide lines assist parking. Extreme close-range detail or ultra-long-distance recognition are beyond the sensor’s design envelope.

IP69K Waterproof Build

Full glue filling and an IP69K rating protect the six glass lenses against high-pressure water and harsh weather. The universal brackets fit standard licence-plate openings, freeing the builder from custom fabrication. Vehicles without a 12 V supply or RCA-compatible display will need additional adapters not included here.

Questions about this item

Will the 12 V power input and RCA video output on this camera work with my existing aftermarket head unit?

Yes, the camera is designed for 12 V DC power and includes a 32.8 ft RCA video cable that plugs directly into most aftermarket head units with a composite video input.

How can I confirm the 149-degree wide-angle lens and 720P resolution are functioning correctly after installation?

Engage reverse gear; the display should show a sharp, wide 149-degree view with clear 720P detail, and the 12 LEDs will illuminate automatically in low light to verify night vision operation.

Does the package include both mounting brackets and the 32.8 ft RCA cable, or must I purchase the cable separately?

The box contains the camera, two mounting brackets and the 32.8 ft RCA video cable; no additional video cable is required for a standard installation.
