AI Translation Earbuds for Travel and Business

The Barrow Mods MINISO X28 earbuds provide real-time two-way translation across 150 languages using the Saymi Intelligence app. They suit travellers, business users and language learners who need instant communication without holding a phone. The open-ear design keeps the ear canal free for situational awareness during commutes or outdoor exercise.

Open-Ear Design and Bluetooth 5.4 Change Daily Use

Open-ear architecture reduces pressure during long sessions and lets ambient sound pass through for safer walking, cycling or driving. Bluetooth 5.4 cuts latency to 50 ms and supports HSP, HFP, A2DP and AVRCP profiles across iOS, Android and Windows. The app adds AI chat and binaural translation modes that a standard headset cannot deliver.

Simple Pairing With One Common Pitfall

Pairing works like any Bluetooth 5.4 device: open the case, select the earbuds on the phone, then install the Saymi Intelligence app for translation features. The main issue users report is forgetting to grant microphone and location permissions to the app, which blocks real-time translation until enabled in system settings.

Questions about this item

What parts of the MINISO X28 earbuds will need replacing after extended use?

The earbuds use built-in rechargeable batteries; these will eventually lose capacity and cannot be user-replaced. Ear-tip hygiene is maintained by wiping the open-ear surfaces.

Which limit appears first during a full day of translation calls?

Battery runtime is the first constraint; continuous AI translation and Bluetooth 5.4 streaming deplete the charge before thermal limits are reached.

How much heat or fan noise do the earbuds produce when worn all day?

The open-ear design generates no noticeable heat and has no fan; only the Bluetooth 5.4 radio operates, so the earbuds stay silent and cool.
