This adapter adds wireless CarPlay and Android Auto to Mercedes Benz C, E, CLA, GLA, GLK, CLS, ML, GL and SLK models from 2012 to 2015 equipped with the NTG 4.5 system. It is intended for drivers who want smartphone integration without replacing the factory head unit. Buyers whose glove box lacks a Harman Becker module slot cannot use this product.

Harman Becker slot integration

The device plugs directly into the Harman Becker socket in the glove box, enabling Siri voice control, map apps such as Google Waze and Sygic, music streaming, phone calls and messaging. Original steering wheel buttons and the rotary knob remain functional for navigation and media control. A press of the factory Navi button switches between the OEM interface and the CarPlay or Android Auto environment.

Plug-in installation with audio check

Installation requires aligning the adapter with the Harman Becker port and pushing it in; no dashboard disassembly is needed. If no sound is heard after pairing, the Bluetooth audio output setting on the phone must be adjusted. Vehicles without the glove box slot will not work even if the model year matches.
