Variable 7-15x Zoom Binoculars

The BARSKA AB12530 offers a 7-15x magnification range with a 35mm objective lens for birdwatching, sporting events, concerts and hunting. A zoom thumb-lever near the eyepieces allows swift magnification changes without losing focus on the subject. Fully multi-coated optics enhance brightness, resolution and contrast across varied lighting conditions. Durable rubber armour provides shock absorption and a secure non-slip grip during outdoor use.

Neck Strap, Case and Tripod Adaptability

The included neck strap and carrying case protect the optics and simplify transport to the field or stadium. Tripod adaptability lets you mount the binocular for steady, hands-free viewing during extended observation sessions. This combination readies the unit for immediate use without extra purchases. Weather-resistant construction ensures reliable performance in changeable outdoor environments.

288/96 Field of View

At the 7x setting the field of view measures 288, narrowing to 96 at 15x magnification. Buyers who need a wider angle at high power or a larger exit pupil for low-light astronomy should consider other models. The variable zoom covers mid-range terrestrial viewing where adjustable reach outweighs maximum brightness. No battery is required for optical operation.

Questions about this item

Will the eyepiece lens coating need reapplication or replacement over time?

The fully multi-coated eyepiece lenses are a permanent optical treatment and do not require reapplication or replacement during normal use.

What limits the field of view when I zoom to the highest magnification?

At 15x magnification the field of view narrows to 96 units, which is the narrowest angle this optic provides.

How much heat does the barrel generate after a full day of outdoor use?

The rubber-armoured body stays at ambient temperature because the binocular has no electronics or battery to produce heat.
