Purpose and audience

The Barska AD12756 Colorado spotting scope serves birders, hunters and target shooters who need variable magnification for distant subjects. Its 20-60x zoom range and 80 mm objective lens suit daytime observation where detail at long range matters.

Optical capacity and limits

The 20-60x magnification paired with an 80 mm objective gathers ample light for bright, contrast-rich images in fair conditions. At the 60x extreme the 1.3 mm exit pupil restricts low-light usefulness, while the 17.9 mm eye relief remains comfortable for extended viewing sessions.

Build integration and accessories

A 45° angled eyepiece and rotating tripod collar let you position the scope on the included tabletop tripod with pan/tilt head for steady aiming. Nitrogen-filled, waterproof and fogproof construction protects the optics in wet weather, and the soft carrying case with shoulder strap simplifies transport to the field.

Questions about this item

Will the 45° angled eyepiece work with my existing tripod head?

The integrated rotating tripod collar lets you orient the 45° angled eyepiece on any standard tripod head without removing the scope.

How do I confirm the fully multi-coated optics are performing correctly?

Check for bright, high-contrast images with minimal glare across the 20-60x zoom range; the nitrogen-filled body should show no internal fogging.

Does the box include the tabletop tripod and carrying case?

Yes — a tabletop tripod with pan/tilt head and a soft carrying case with shoulder strap are included; no extra purchase is needed for basic use.
