Product identity

The BARSKA AU11408 GLX is a compact green laser sight built for shooters who need a visible aiming point on pistols or rifles. Its integrated Picatinny rail also lets users attach a light or other accessory without adding bulk.

Deciding specification

The unit emits a 532 nm green beam rated at 5 mW, a wavelength the human eye perceives as brighter than red at the same power. If your shooting environment demands maximum daytime visibility, this wavelength is the critical factor.

Installation and common issues

The built-in Weaver mount with a stabilising cross-bar clamps to short rails on handguns and long guns alike, and a momentary pressure switch is included for remote activation. Users should verify rail compatibility before purchase and take care not to over-tighten the mount screws, which can strip the aluminium threads.
