Mini security camera kit

The Baseus kit provides a compact camera suited for discreet home monitoring or portable recording during sports and travel. Its small form factor allows placement on a table, wall, pocket or collar using the supplied clip. The device captures both still images and video without drawing attention. It serves well as a nanny cam or a lightweight action camera.

Night vision and loop recording

Six infrared LEDs enable recording in low-light conditions, while a photosensitive sensor automatically activates night vision when needed. Loop recording continuously overwrites the oldest footage so the card never fills up. Only two buttons, power and mode, control all functions, keeping daily operation straightforward. The camera draws power from its internal battery for extended use between charges.

Build integration and mounting

The included clip lets you attach the camera to clothing, a bag strap or a vehicle visor without extra hardware. No permanent wiring or large mounting brackets are required, freeing up space in a car or on a shelf. The unit works as a standalone recorder, so no separate DVR or network connection is necessary. Buyers who need continuous external power or multi-camera synchronisation should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I install the BASEUS Mini Security Camera Kit, and what step do people often miss?

Clip the camera onto a collar, pocket, wall or tabletop using the included clip, then press the Power button once to start recording — the step many miss is pressing the Mode button afterwards to confirm loop recording is active.

What maintenance or replacement will the BASEUS Mini Security Camera Kit need later?

The built-in battery cannot be user-replaced; after its capacity drops you will need to recharge more often, and the 12-month warranty covers defects but not battery wear.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the BASEUS Mini Security Camera Kit?

Continuous recording is limited by the internal battery runtime; once depleted the camera stops until recharged, and the 6 infrared LEDs only illuminate in low-light conditions.
