Questions about this item

How do I install the 9.4 inch stretch lid on a large mixing bowl and what step is often missed?

Stretch the transparent silicone lid over the clean dry rim of the bowl then press the centre down to create suction; the step often missed is ensuring the rim is completely dry so the seal holds.

What maintenance or replacement will the 7 pack of 2.6 to 9.4 inch silicone lids need over time?

Wash each lid in the dishwasher or by hand after every use; inspect for tears or permanent deformation and replace any lid that no longer stretches back to its original size.

What is the first limit that appears when the stretch lids are used continuously in a hot oven?

The food grade silicone is rated to 100 degrees Celsius so sustained oven temperatures above that point will cause the material to soften and lose its seal first.
