Bason TV131 Light Kit 55-65 inch 32-key remote

TV backlight kit for 55-65 inch screens

The Bason TV131 is a USB-powered LED strip designed to mount on the rear of 55 to 65 inch televisions. It adds RGB bias lighting that reduces eye strain during dark-room viewing and enhances perceived contrast for gaming or film sessions. The kit includes a 32-key infrared remote and supports app control via Bluetooth for colour and mode selection. It draws 4 watts at 5 volts from any standard TV USB port.

Check USB power and remote line of sight

Verify that your television has a free USB-A port capable of supplying 5 volts for continuous operation. The infrared receiver on the control box must remain unobstructed by the TV bezel or wall-mount brackets so the 32-key remote functions reliably. Measure the perimeter of your screen to confirm the four pre-cut strips match the 55-65 inch size range before peeling the adhesive backing. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry for secure adhesion.

Remote and app unlock preset modes and memory

The bundled 32-key remote provides direct access to colour presets, brightness levels and dynamic scenes without navigating menus. The companion smartphone app extends control with music-sync modes that pulse the 5050 LEDs to audio captured by the built-in microphone. A memory function restores the last used brightness and colour settings automatically when the TV powers on. Removing the plastic insulation tab from the remote battery compartment activates it for first use.
