60W Portable Speaker for Outdoor Use

The BassBloom ROAR 1 is a portable Bluetooth speaker rated at 60 watts with a peak output of 80 watts. It uses an active amplification design and the exclusive JIKE Bass algorithm to enhance low frequencies. Two passive radiators compress air to increase bass impact by fifty percent. The speaker is built for travel, camping, beach trips and small group gatherings.

Sustained Output and Bass Behaviour

The JIKE Bass algorithm maintains optimal bass performance even at lower volume levels. During extended playback the dual passive radiators continue to reinforce low-end response without relying on short bursts. Bluetooth 5.4 provides a stable connection up to 10 meters, reducing dropouts during long sessions. The 24-hour playtime supports all-day use without recharging.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

The IPX6 rating protects the speaker from powerful water jets, making it suitable for poolside or rainy conditions. The enclosure measures 15.0 by 6.0 by 8.0 inches and includes an adjustable strap that switches between hand-carry and shoulder modes. RGB party lights add visual flair while the battery display shows remaining charge. TWS pairing allows two units to play in stereo.

Questions about this item

Does the 60 W driver and 80 W peak output make the speaker hot or noisy during a full 24-hour session?

The active 60 W amplifier runs within its thermal design for the rated 24-hour playtime; no fan is present, so operation stays silent.

What source device do I need to stream audio to the speaker over Bluetooth 5.4?

Any phone, tablet or computer that supports Bluetooth 5.4 or earlier versions within the 10-metre range.

Can I pair this unit with an older BassBloom speaker I already own for stereo sound?

TWS pairing works between two ROAR 1 speakers; compatibility with earlier models is not supported.
