Limits of 5-pin mechanical switches

These switches require a hot-swap PCB or plate that accepts 5-pin footprints; they will not fit 3-pin only boards without modification. The pre-lubed finish reduces initial scratchiness but may feel different after extended use as lubricant redistributes. Backlight shine-through depends on the frosted light-guided surface and keycap opacity chosen by the builder.
