Reliable CR2450 power for car key fobs

This pack supplies two CR2450 3V dry-cell batteries designed as direct replacements for exhausted key-fob cells. Each unit is a non-rechargeable lithium coin cell suited to the low, steady current draw of remote entry systems. The pair gives you a spare so a second fob or a future change is covered without a separate purchase.

Steady voltage under continuous low drain

Because the chemistry is optimised for long-term, low-current service, the cells maintain a stable 3 V output throughout the months a key fob remains in daily use. They do not suffer the voltage sag seen in high-drain pulse applications, so lock and unlock signals stay reliable until the cell is genuinely depleted.

Questions about this item

Does the CR2450 generate noticeable heat or noise when powering a car key fob all day?

The CR2450 is a dry cell battery with no moving parts, so it runs silently and produces no measurable heat during normal key fob operation.

What else must I already own for these CR2450 batteries to work?

You need a car key fob or remote that specifically takes a CR2450 cell; check your vehicle owner's manual to confirm the correct battery type before fitting.
