Questions about this item

When will the 330 W UHP lamp need replacement after 3000 hours of use?

The lamp is rated for 3000 hours of operation before brightness drops to half its initial output, so plan a replacement around that mark.

What limits continuous operation of the 330 W lamp in Hitachi LW551i, LW555i, LWU501i or LX601i projectors?

The 3000-hour rated life is the primary limit; sustained use beyond that reduces light output and risks sudden lamp failure.
