Direct Replacement Lamp

The Battery Technology NP15LP-BTI is a 180 W NSHA projector lamp built as a direct replacement for compatible NEC models. It restores original brightness and colour performance when the installed lamp reaches end of life.

Suits owners of listed NEC projectors

This lamp fits the M230X, M260W, M260WS, M260X, M260XS, M260XSG, M300, M300X, M300XC and corresponding NP-prefixed variants. It is not intended for projectors outside this compatibility list or for users requiring a different lamp technology.

5000-hour rated life at 180 W

At the rated 180 W power setting the lamp delivers approximately 5000 hours of operation before replacement is needed. Heavy daily use will consume this interval faster, while occasional use extends the practical service period.

Questions about this item

Which NEC projector models accept the NP15LP-BTI 180 W lamp?

The NP15LP-BTI fits NEC projectors M230X, M260W, M260WS, M260X, M260XS, M260XSG, M300, M300X, M300XC, NP-M230X, NP-M260W, NP-M260X and NP-M300X.

Will the 180 W lamp work in an older NEC projector that originally used a lower-wattage lamp?

No, the NP15LP-BTI is only compatible with the listed NEC models; using it in a projector designed for a different wattage can cause damage or failure.

How can I verify the lamp is operating correctly after installation?

Check the projector’s lamp-hour counter — it should reset to zero and then count up toward the rated 5000-hour life as the lamp runs.
