12V 18AH SLA battery for backup power

The BatteryJack inc. pack contains two sealed lead-acid batteries rated at 12 volts and 18 amp-hours each. They serve as direct replacements for models such as ub12180, gp12170, np18-12, 51814 and np17-12. The units are built with absorptive glass mat technology for spill-proof operation in any orientation.

Drop-in replacement with no fluid handling

Installation consists of removing the old cells and connecting the new ones using the existing terminals and cables. The sealed AGM construction eliminates electrolyte leakage and removes any need to check specific gravity or add water. Gas recombination handles over 90 percent of generated gas during normal use.

Suits UPS, alarm and emergency lighting systems

Buyers maintaining uninterruptible power supplies, security panels or backup lighting will find the voltage and capacity match the original specifications. The two-year warranty on general devices and three-year coverage on UPS units reflect the expected 4-7 year service life. Users needing higher capacity, different voltages or lithium chemistry should consider other options.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the AGM battery is holding a proper charge after installation?

What comes in the 2PK box and do I need to buy terminals or cables separately?

The package contains two 12V 18AH SLA batteries; terminals are built-in and no extra cables are included.

Which of the listed replacement part numbers matches my device — ub12180, gp12170, np18-12, 51814 or np17-12?

This 2-pack replaces all five listed codes — ub12180, gp12170, np18-12, 51814 and np17-12 — so choose the one printed on your original battery.
