12 V 2.2 Ah AGM replacement battery

This 12 V 2.2 Ah AGM battery is a 100 % OEM replacement for select Troy-Bilt mowers using part numbers 12AG836G266 and 12AJ836E011. It arrives sealed, maintenance-free and ready to install in the existing tray. Homeowners and landscapers who need a direct-fit starting battery for compatible riding mowers will find it matches the original specifications. Buyers whose mowers require a different voltage, capacity or terminal layout should look elsewhere.

AGM limits and handling

The Absorptive Glass Mat construction keeps electrolyte absorbed in glass-fibre separators so the unit is classified non-spillable and meets IATA air-transport rules. Gas recombination exceeds 90 % during normal use, eliminating the need to check specific gravity or add water over the expected 4-7 year float life. The case is sealed for leakage-free operation in any position, but the chemistry still requires a charger suited to AGM profiles; automotive flood-cell chargers can over-voltage the cells.

Fitment and charging check

Verify the mower model number against 12AG836G266 or 12AJ836E011 and confirm the physical dimensions and terminal orientation match the old unit before ordering. Ensure the on-board charging system or external charger is rated for 12 V AGM batteries to avoid premature capacity loss. The supplier reference UT1222 and cross-reference 925-04323 can help confirm compatibility with the dealer. If the mower uses a different group size or terminal type this battery will not fit.
