Tank Replacement for Porter Cable Tools

This 12 V nickel-metal-hydride pack replaces the original Porter Cable 8623 battery and fits models 869 and 9866/F. It delivers a 2.4 Ah capacity built with high-quality cells and rugged plastics. The pack is designed for cordless drill and driver owners who need a direct drop-in power source. A two-year warranty backs the replacement.

Sustained Output on Demanding Jobs

Ni-MH chemistry maintains steady voltage through extended drilling or driving cycles without the sharp drop-off seen in short bursts. The 2400 mAh rating supports longer run times between charges on heavy-duty applications. Heat-resistant construction helps the cells cope with continuous high-current draw. Performance stays consistent until the pack is nearly depleted.

2.4 Ah Capacity Decides Fit

The 2.4 Ah figure determines whether this pack matches the runtime your workflow expects. Buyers who need more storage for all-day use will find the capacity limiting. Builders who rely on higher-voltage platforms cannot adapt this 12 V pack to those tools. Compatibility is locked to the listed Porter Cable models only.
