Replacement SLA battery for UPS units

This 12 V 3.2 AH sealed lead-acid battery uses AGM technology for maintenance‑free operation. It is a direct OEM replacement for the CP1232 and PS‑1230 models and fits a wide range of UPS cartridges including RBC35 and RBC47. The compact design suits emergency lighting, security and telecom backup systems.

Terminal spacing and capacity limits

The terminals are spaced 1.6 inches apart, so the battery only fits enclosures designed for that pitch. Its 3.2 AH rating supports typical low‑load backup duties but will not sustain high‑current draws for extended periods. Expected service life is four to seven years under normal float conditions.

Check your UPS model and terminal layout

Verify that your unit lists CP1232, PS‑1230 or one of the compatible cartridge numbers such as RBC35 before ordering. Confirm the 1.6 inch terminal distance matches the existing connector spacing. Ensure the application is a standard UPS, alarm or DC backup system rather than a high‑discharge cyclic use case.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 3.2AH or 3.3AH version for my UPS?

The supplier title lists 3.2AH while the description cites 3.3AH; both refer to the same 12V SLA pack, so select the one matching your original battery label.

What does the 12V 3.2AH rating mean once the battery is installed in a UPS?

It supplies a nominal 12 volts and 3.2 ampere-hours of capacity, determining how long the UPS can power connected equipment during an outage.

What terminal spacing does the 1.6-inch interface require in practice?

The battery posts are spaced 1.6 inches apart, so the UPS battery compartment or cable harness must accommodate that exact centre-to-centre distance.
