Direct OEM replacement

The BatteryJack 12 V 7.5 Ah unit is built as a 100 % OEM replacement for GS PORTALAC PX12072 DG126 devices. It uses advanced AGM technology with a sealed, non-spillable construction that meets International Air Transport Association requirements. The design suits backup power, UPS and portable equipment where a drop-in battery is required.

Thermals noise and power draw

AGM chemistry recombines over 90 % of gas generated during normal use, so the battery runs without venting or electrolyte loss. The sealed case prevents leakage in any orientation and eliminates the need for water top-ups or specific-gravity checks. Expected service life is four to seven years under typical float conditions.

Build integration

The maintenance-free format frees the installer from periodic servicing and allows mounting in any position. A three-year warranty covers UPS and backup applications, while other uses carry a two-year term. The battery fits the existing compartment and connector layout without adapter cables or chassis modifications.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 12V 7.5AH AGM battery in my GS PORTALAC PX12072 DG126 and which step is often missed?

Mount the battery in any orientation thanks to its sealed AGM design, then connect the terminals matching the original polarity; the step often missed is tightening the terminal bolts to the torque specified in the device manual to prevent resistance and heating.

What maintenance or replacement will this 12V 7.5AH AGM battery need over its 4-7 year expected life?

The battery is maintenance-free with no watering or specific gravity checks required; plan a full replacement once capacity drops near the end of the 4-7 year floating service life.

What limit appears first on this 12V 7.5AH AGM battery during sustained backup use?

Gas recombination handles over 90 % of generated gas, so the first limit under sustained discharge is the finite 7.5 AH capacity, after which voltage drops and the unit must recharge.
