12V 7.5AH AGM Battery

The PowerStar CA1270 is a 12V 7.5AH sealed lead-acid battery built with advanced AGM technology. It arrives maintenance-free and ready for immediate installation as a 100% OEM replacement. This unit suits backup power, security systems, mobility aids and portable tool applications. It carries a two-year warranty on general devices and three years on UPS and backup equipment.

T1/T2 Terminals for Direct Swap

The battery measures 5.94 length, 2.56 width and 3.66 height with T1/T2 terminal types for direct compatibility. It fits existing enclosures without modification and frees the user from electrolyte checks or watering. The sealed construction allows operation in any orientation, simplifying integration into alarm panels, medical carts, solar setups or electric starter circuits.

Sealed AGM Runs Cool and Quiet

The AGM design produces no gas during normal charge and discharge cycles, so it runs silently without forced cooling. Internal recombination keeps temperatures stable in standby float service. Low self-discharge preserves capacity across seasonal storage, reducing the need for frequent top-up charges in emergency lighting or access control deployments.

Questions about this item

How long will the 12V 7.5AH capacity last before the battery needs replacing under continuous float service?

The manufacturer rates expected battery life at 4 to 7 years in float applications; actual duration depends on depth of discharge, temperature and charging regime.

Does the sealed AGM construction run hot or vent gas during all-day backup duty?

The valve-regulated AGM design is sealed and maintenance-free; it recombines gases internally and produces no routine venting or noticeable heat rise under normal float charge.

Which devices already use the T1/T2 terminal layout so this 1270-size pack drops straight in?

Any 12V 7–7.5AH SLA unit with T1/T2 faston terminals — common in UPS units, alarm panels, emergency lighting and mobility scooters — will accept this battery without adapter cables.
