What it is and who it fits

This is a 12 V 7.5 Ah sealed lead-acid battery with T1/T2 Faston terminals. It uses AGM construction so it is spill-proof and requires no maintenance. The unit is a direct 100 % OEM replacement for the 5EFG8 and matches the dimensions of common 12120-size packs. Buyers needing a drop-in backup cell for UPS units, alarm panels or emergency lighting will find it compatible.

Who should buy it and who should not

It suits technicians who want a maintenance-free AGM block that fits existing T1/T2 terminal layouts without rewiring. The three-year warranty on UPS and backup devices covers the most common deployments. Buyers who need a different terminal style, a higher amp-hour rating or a lithium chemistry should look elsewhere because this pack is fixed at 7.5 Ah with Faston tabs only.

The spec that decides fit

Terminal type is T1/T2 Faston and the physical envelope is 5.94 L × 2.56 W × 3.66 H. If the equipment bay or cable lugs do not match those terminals and dimensions the battery will not install correctly. Verify the compartment size and connector style before ordering.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 7.5Ah version or a different capacity?

The battery supplies 7.5Ah at 12V, so choose this capacity when your device specifies 7.5Ah or 12120 in its manual.

What does the 7.5Ah rating deliver in actual use?

It provides 7.5 ampere-hours at 12 volts, meaning it can sustain a 1-amp load for about 7.5 hours before recharge.

What do the T1/T2 terminals connect to and what current can they handle?

T1/T2 are standard Faston tabs that fit the spade connectors used in most UPS and backup units; they carry the full 7.5Ah rated current.
