SKU CH-ASNM-M0HQ8

A 12V 7.5Ah sealed lead-acid battery with AGM technology, maintenance-free and rated for four to seven years, replacing 7Ah or 8Ah units in UPS, alarms and solar systems

  • Maintenance-free AGM design eliminates electrolyte checks
  • 5 Ah capacity replaces both 7 Ah and 8 Ah units
  • 100 % OEM-compatible fit for APC Back-UPS and other listed models
  • Expected service life of four to seven years under normal use
  • Two-year warranty on general devices and three-year warranty on UPS and backup systems

12V 7.5Ah SLA replacement battery

This 12V 7.5Ah sealed lead-acid battery uses absorbed glass mat technology to replace 7Ah or 8Ah packs in UPS units, alarm panels and hobby devices. It arrives ready to install with no electrolyte handling required.

7.5Ah capacity for standby and cyclic loads

The 7.5Ah rating supplies a modest increase over 7Ah models, giving extra runtime for Back-UPS 250, 280, 300, 350, 400, 420 and 500 series units. It is not suited for high-drain starter applications or deep-cycle solar banks that demand larger amp-hour reserves.

Maintenance-free AGM construction

The sealed absorbed glass mat design eliminates watering and allows operation in any orientation, which simplifies installation in security panels, fish finders and portable equipment. A three-year warranty covers UPS and backup use, while other applications carry a two-year term.

Questions about this item

Will this 12V 7.5AH AGM battery fit the same compartment as my old 12V 7Ah unit in a BackUPS 500?

Yes, it is a 100% OEM replacement for 12V 7Ah and 12V 8Ah batteries and is listed as compatible with the BackUPS 500, BackUPS 500M and BackUPS 500MC models.

How can I confirm the battery is delivering power correctly once installed in my UPS?

The UPS should power on normally, show a full charge indicator within the normal charging period and pass its self-test without reporting a battery fault or replacement alert.

Does the box include terminal bolts or a wiring harness for connecting to my APC unit?

The battery uses standard F2 faston terminals; mounting hardware and any model-specific cable adapters are not included and must be sourced separately if required.
