Direct OEM Replacement

This 12 Volt 7AH AGM battery is a 100% OEM replacement for the GS PORTALAC PX12072 DG126. It uses advanced Absorptive Glass Mat technology for sealed, maintenance-free operation. The design prevents electrolyte leakage and allows safe use in any position. It is classified as non-spillable for transport.

Upgrades Older Lead-Acid Units

The jump is worth it when your current unit shows reduced runtime or requires water top-ups. AGM construction recombines over 90% of gas generated during normal use, eliminating the need to check specific gravity. Expected service life reaches 4-7 years in floating applications. It replaces legacy batteries that demand regular upkeep.

Suits UPS and Backup Systems

This battery suits buyers who need a drop-in replacement for compatible UPS or backup devices. It carries a three-year warranty on those applications. Buyers who want more storage capacity or a different voltage should look at other options. The sealed design also fits installations where orientation cannot be fixed.

Questions about this item

What terminal layout and voltage does this 12V AGM battery use to fit the GS PORTALAC PX12072 DG126?

It is a 12 volt, 7AH sealed AGM unit built as a direct OEM replacement for the GS PORTALAC PX12072 DG126, so the terminals and case dimensions match the original specification.

How is the battery installed, and what common mistake should be avoided?

Install by placing the battery in the device compartment and connecting the leads to the matching terminals; the common error is reversing polarity, so always attach positive to positive and negative to negative.

When will this maintenance-free AGM battery need replacement?

The expected service life is 4 to 7 years; plan replacement when runtime drops noticeably or the unit reaches the end of that range.
